Here are some Membership Benefits you may enjoy:

The core of our club is that our members desire to learn more about woodturning and in turn, are willing to share, and help other turners with projects, techniques and skills.

The sharing of information and knowledge is what helps us each become more skilled, providing us with even more enjoyment for our woodturning efforts. 

In addition other benefits we'd like to mention are:

• Monthly Newsletter - Find out what’s going on with the club and the woodturning community in New England.
  
• Wood raffles - A lot of wood is donated to the club from fallen local trees and from members. Large chucks of wood are raffled off for $1 each at our meetings. We encourage you to bring wood in for the raffle. The benefits go to the club's treasury.
  
• Show & Tell - At each month's meeting, we set aside a special time to look at member's work and listen to them explain the wood, finishing, techniques, and difficulties involved in making their turned item. We also encourage you to bring your work to the meeting and get valuable feedback and advice. It doesn't matter what your skill set is, we believe that this honest, straightforward feedback will help you become a better turner.
  
• Woodturning Demos - Each meeting we have a program related to turning. We often have a demonstrations of projects or techniques. Demonstrators include members and professionals.
  
• Sawdust Sessions - In order to provide more time for turning demonstrations, we have created Sawdust Sessions. These are off-site turning demonstrations, conducted at member's shops. To learn more, click here!
  
• Mentor List - Woodturning requires technical skills to excel at the craft. Often times you just need to see something done once to be able to do it yourself or you just need a little help to finish something. Several of the club's members have agreed to help others at either the member's home or at theirs. If you'd like some help, just give any one of these wonderful people a call.
  
• Video/Book Library - Members can rent books or videos for $2 each month used.
  
• Woodturning Supplies - The club sells common woodturning supplies like CA glue and sandpaper at a discount from retail cost.
  
• Special Discounts - Receive 10% discounts at retail stores like Woodcraft when you become a member.
  
• Art & Craft Shows - Members enjoy the opportunity to sell their works of art at club sponsored shows.
